This is El Text-o. (It looks like all my Stacks will be El Something from now on). El Text-o is is a one-of-a-kind Stack. There is nothing else like it! El Text-o allows you to present your message with a punch! You can bet viewers will be reloading your page just to watch El text-o again. That's the kind of attention you want to bring to your site.

They'll think you spent hours hand-coding your site... and only you will know that El Presidente himself spent countless hours in his palace putting all this RapidWeaver goodness together just for you. Talk about special, individualized attention! All kidding aside, I imagine you are already plotting where you will make use of El Text-o. Which client will be the first to marvel at your ability to bring this kind of effect to their web site?

El Text-o has only one effect.. the one you witnessed here. However, take a look at the HUD below to see how customizable El Text-o is... colors, speeds, font sizes, fade/vanish, etc!

This is the Inspector (HUD) for El Text-o. This is where we make all the adjustments to make El Text-o look and act the way we want.
Let's do a quick walk-through together.

• 1. Overall Width: Setting for width of effect (added by me to gain IE6 support)
• 2. Line Delay: Time for each line to delay before continuing effect
• 3. Letter Delay: Time between each letter falling into place
• 4. Final Text Color: RGB** values for the final text color.
• 5. Matching Text color: RGB** values for the matching text color.
• 6. Ghost Text Color: RGB* values for the Ghost effect text color.
• 7. Effect Height: Adjusts empty space below the effect
• 8. Font Size: Adjustable up to 48px
• 9. Check = Fad and Vanish: Left unchecked, El Text-o remains visible when done.
• 10. Vanish Duration: Timing for fade/vanish effect.
• 11. Check = Add JQuery: Jquery is used for fade/vanish only. User selected so you can take advantage of a theme's built-in JQuery.
• 12. Overall height: Adjustable for El Text-o with numerous lines of text to display.

**RGB values are easy to get from RapidWeaver's color picker. Instructions included in the manual.

A very limited version of El Text-o is available for download below. You can add it to your Stacks page to see how it work in your RapidWeaver project. The limited version has default text (non user customizable). All controls have been removed except for the ability to add JQuery and enable/disable the fade/vanish effect. It is intended just to give you a feel for what El Text-o can do.
