Ok, where do I begin? (right here apparently) I'm going to add some Stacks usage tips and answer some questions that I know you've been wanting to ask. Probably the single best piece of advice that I can offer was originally offered by Isaiah, the Creator of Blocks, Carousel, Collage and our beloved Stacks. In regards to stacks pages he said the best advice is, "One effect per page". Of course you've seen me and others successfully place more than one effect on a page. It can be done... and you might get lucky and it will work the first time you try.... but don't bet on it. Many of these Stacks utilize complex scripts that make the "magic" happen. There is always the possibility that the script from one effect will keep another effect from working. So, to reiterate, "One effect per page". Ok, we got that out of the way. Now let's get real. You know you are going to try and add multiple effects to your pages. Since I know you will, here's some advice on doing that:
Don't (ok, next please)
Get one effect working perfectly before you try to add a second. Make sure they play together nicely before attempting a third and so on. Sometimes, it just may not be possible.... accept that fact!Simpler is generally better. ElPresidente, you are the man when it comes to stacks. I love every choice. Playing with El Slide-O has been fun. The true beauty of it is further enhanced by ease of use.
